  • > D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • > PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • > PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • > REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • > BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

Made without PFAS

Made without PFAS

This deuter product was manufactured by us without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.

Absolutely love this backpack. I used everyday, it's extremally comfortable and bizarrely light! I frequently forgot I'm using a backpack. I mean, you don't need a 1kg backpack to carry 3 kg or 4kg, right? My everyday notebook, phone, maybe gloves or something. And that's it. Perfect. Parfait.

I've been using this backpack daily for roughly a year and came here to write my first ever product review. Yes, it's that good. I'm a traveller, hiker, trail runner and office commuter and this pack does it all. It's extremely light and comfortable. It can fold up very small into a bigger pack or luggage. Hiking is probably the best use case. The backpanel is pretty thin, yet comfortable as long as you pack in a smart way (soft things in the back, pointy things up front). The straps and back panel are very breathable. Waist belt is detachable and really usefull for steep climbs or casual trail runs. I often cary my 15 inch laptop in this bag which fits snugly with a hard case around it. I recommend a case because there's not much protection built in. The pack is perfect for traveling as it passes each time as a personal item on flights. As long as you don't overpack too much you'll be able to compress it to fit your flights regulations. Because it's so light, I'm often afraid that something wil rip or break but this hasn't happened after a year of (ab)use. If it ever does, I'm looking for exactly the same product. 3 small iterations would even improve this bag: -making the front stuff pocket out of a stretching/ventilated material (it's stiff for now and I don't really use it for that reason. Breathable material would make it ideal for wet stuff.) -adding another small zippered compartment in the front -adding a rain cover (it's not a waterproof bag) J'utilise ce sac à dos quotidiennement depuis environ un an et je suis venu ici pour rédiger mon tout premier avis produit.
