Description

Our sun and rain protection for retrofitting to our Kid Comfort Air (Art. No. 36504) and Kid Comfort 2 (Art. No. 36514). Delivery year 2014 - 2018.

The flexible, durable sun and rain cover is quick to install on the child carriers. The sun canopy protects the child from UV rays and provides pleasant shade. Easy to store thanks to flexible design.

Deuter Microrip Lite

This very fine nylon fabric distinguishes itself through its extremely light weight. We use this material in different strengths, i.e. 70D and 50D. The PU coating and the dense weave give it its outstanding waterproof properties. Similar to our other lightweight textiles, the Microrip Lite is reinforced in order to guarantee a high level of tear resistance. It is used for our bike bags and accessories.

30D Nylon Taffeta (PFC free)

> D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
> PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
> PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
> REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
> BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

Made without PFAS

This deuter product was manufactured by us without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
