Description

The TPU-coated body fabric of the UP Stockholm LTD is made entirely from functional fabric remnants from our manufacturing process. We’ve taken these offcuts and made them into a limited line of new products, to help cut waste. As a lifestyle day pack, the UP Stockholm LTD offers clever internal and external organization for your everyday work, study or leisure gear. With a top-loader zipper opening, access to contents is quick and easy. The padded front panel and reinforced base help maintain the shape of this pack. The tough TPU-coated main material is water repellent, making this pack a robust yet versatile everyday backpack.

600D PES TPU

  • > D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • > PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • > PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • > REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • > BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

Made without PFAS

Made without PFAS

This deuter product was manufactured by us without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.

bluesign® product

bluesign® product

Consumer products that carry the bluesign® product label conform to the strict safety and environmental requirements of the bluesign® system criteria. The textiles and accessories used to manufacture the products with the bluesign® approved label are produced in a way that saves valuable resources and has a minimum impact on people and the environment.

Green Button certified product

Green Button certified product

The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainable textiles. Everyone who aims to purchase socially and environmentally sustainable clothes should look out for the Green Button. There is currently no other label like the Green Button. It demands that mandatory standards are met to protect people and the environment. A total of 46 stringent social and environmental criteria must be met, covering a wide spectrum from wastewater to forced labour. Read more information here.

ClimatePartner certified product

ClimatePartner certified product

By increasingly adopting materials and technologies for our collections that have a smaller carbon footprint, we are taking positive steps toward reducing our CO² emissions. But despite our greatest efforts, it’s impossible not to generate any emissions at all. And so, we’ve teamed up with ClimatePartner to offset all unavoidable CO² emissions. From now on, when a deuter product is bought, the volume of emissions released by the manufacture and transportation of it will be compensated for through voluntary offsetting and targeted investment in select social and climate protection projects. Thanks to resource-efficient production methods making recycled synthetic fibers generally requires less CO2, less energy and crude oil compared to newly manufactured materials. The body fabric is also bluesign® certified and manufactured according to the strictest standards for environmental protection, occupational safety and consumer protection.
